Teresa Bennett - Tabart Studio

Teresa Bennett is an accomplished fine artist working mainly in oil, pastel and watercolour.

I strive to create images which evoke a sense of serenity. Shapes, textures, tones of light and colour are all vital in my compositions. My passion seems to lie in painting trees and woodlands in all their splendour, sometimes incorporating a figurative element.

The Scottish landscape, its hills, rivers, coastal settings with its ever-changing seasons provide endless inspiration. I paint in many mediums but predominately oil, pastel and watercolour.

NORTH EAST OPEN STUDIOS 2010

This year I will be holding my Open Studio Event in the beautiful picturesque Village of Footdee or better known as 'Fittie' to us Aberdonians.

Fittie is located at the end of the Beach Promenade at the mouth of Aberdeen Harbour.

My studio is situated at 11 North Square which is directly behind the sea wall.  I will be in the new bothy shed opposite our cottage with the green door.

The event runs from Saturday 11th September until Sunday 19th September.

I will be open from 10am for the duration but the studio will be closed on Wednesday 15th September.
